Portland Opera’s production of An American Quartet is an evening of four one act operas including The Telephone by Gian Carlo Menotti, A Hand of Bridge by Samuel Barber, Gallantry by Douglas Moore, and Bon Appétit! by Lee Hoiby. Ms. Sherman will perform as Sally in A Hand of Bridge and as Announcer in Gallantry.
Performances will take place at the Hampton Opera Center. Performances on February 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th, and 15th have sold out, and additional performances have been added on February 20th and 22nd.
